Hey guys ive searched and haven't really came up with a solid answer. I'm building a 650hp sr20det and need to get an engine management system and was wondering if a power fc would work for this or if I need to go with an aem set up or haltec.
Thanks,
Jake

It will work. The only ONLY problem I have with the power FC on engines like that is the tip in throttle enrichment. It will ALWAYS go lean at first, no way around it if you want the fuel map dead-accurate.
On the other hand, if you do not care about cruise/fuel economy, this will not be an issue, because you can tune those parts of the map more towards high 13's instead of 15's and prevent it from tipping in lean.
AEM will give you more control though. It isnt worth it in my opinion unless you need the car "perfect" like factory.

Yeahh it'll be a weekend car so mpg doesn't matter to me. Thanks!

Find the tuner you want to use. Ask them what they like to use is the better idea.

I'm curious how you plan on getting 650hp out of it? Sleeves and 90mm bore? Stroker kit? VE head?

Be sure to take a look at the NismoTronicSA Tuning Package (http://www.nismotronic.com/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=29) before you make your decision. It does about everything a stand-alone does, and some things a stand-alone doesn't, for much less $.

Darton sleeves, cp pistons, tomei rods, tomei 280 cams, 2000cc injectors, 6266 turbo, greddy intake, full race exhaust. 650 would be max I would be happy with anything over 500 I just wanted to make sure the pfc could tune to thst high of a hp if I ever decided to push it more
