Car has never been wrecked. CLean title.

Ran a 12.5 @ 115mph on 15.5lbs of boost without LSD!!! This car now has lsd!!

Car is suspected of having headwork.. im 90% sure... sometimes you get lucky with these motors from japan!

Only the best have been installed... $2000 suspension, $1100 intercooler, everything has been replaced or cleaned. Suspension has just been installed along with the LSD... Almost all receipts KEPT!! Oil changed every 2000miles. Engine carbon buildup cleaner performed last week, car runs like a champ! I daily drive on stock boost (7lbs) and car very rarely sees high boost owing to the fact that ive been trying not to get a ticket in my little cop infested town.

Body is great, minor dings

All gaskets replaced including turbo INLET gasket that usually brakes loose.

RECEIPTS KEPT!!!!

Pictures are taken before jic's were installed and wheels were painted black
the pictures also do not show the 180sx tailight conversion
the car is lowered to 3" rear 2 1/2" front

The best ive seen with t25 turbo, 14 psi, car was stripped, 2.0 for the 60' and a 13.3 @107mph and that was a near perfect run.

kcolyer27
06-18-2004, 11:53 PM
Hmm why didnt you run more boost if you have a t28? IM pretty sure stock internals are good until about 22psi

FiKtIOn
06-19-2004, 11:08 AM
Probably because at 16 lbs. that turbo is screaming.

kcolyer27
06-19-2004, 02:42 PM
I still dont belive it. My friend runs 22 psi on his t28 with a 1.9 60 foot and he only got a 12.9

Ghettokracker71
06-19-2004, 02:49 PM
I vote he has to prove it w/his time sheet.

FiKtIOn
06-19-2004, 03:47 PM
22 psi on a t28 will lose power, definitely not gain it.

A t28 is a small turbo.

for all those that dont believe the T25 can run into the mid 12's...believe it. the owner of the shop i work at has a sr20 240 with a silvia conversion and his son ran a 12.5 or 12.6 at 14lbs on drag radials. granted it does have a custom RLZ Engineering intake manifold, port work by RLZ Engineering, and cams(i believe are also custom RLZ cams). the car put out 265-270 at the wheels.

I thought the record for stock T-25 was a 12.8 held by an enjuku car.

Everyone saying the times arent possible on a t28 needs to get their heads out of their asses. myself and several other have been 13.00000's on a T25, and that was with a 1.89 60ft.

as for the "T28/t3" part.....is it a pulsar GTi-R turbo?

also........."stock internals are good to 22psi". wtf does that mean? :ughug:
i wasnt aware pistons/rods were rated at how many pounds of boost you could run

I guess buy this car. Boost over 22 psi and see what happens.

But the pistons and rods aren't affected by boost!

I completly agree that the t28 turbo can go more than 12.8

Last friday i went a 13.3 @107 with a 2.2 60ft on street tires @ 15psi

The humidity was something like 95% and the track temp was 110.

I have a s14 sr20det with 3" exhaust from turbo outlet, stock suspension,FMIC R-spl, fuel pump, HKS clutch, short shifter

Thats basically it. If it waqs cooler outside and less humidity i completly believe i can hit 12's.

A few other cars there that i know go 12.5's were running 1/2 slower due to the temp's & humidity.

Nevermind..........

What im saying is: No engine is rated in terms like "Yo ThiS MaD Tyte SR20DeT motor can take 22psi"

And if you have a friend running 22psi on a T28, your friend is a moron.

You could have been in the 12s easy if you get the car out of the hole better. even a 1.90 60ft wouldve put you safe in the 12's

I'm saying my bosses car ran a 12.6 or whatever on the T25....i said nothing bout a T28. the T25 took him into mid 12s. i'm at work now, ill ask what the exact numbers were and if the timeslip is around here somewhere.

alright, the car ran a 12.5 @ 109 with a 1.82 60' at Rockingham Dragway when it was 90 degrees or so with the drag radials at 20psi. the car was driven there 2hrs from Charlotte. on that run it ran a 8.2 1/8th mile. soon after that it was ran at Mooresville dragway and ran a [email protected] or so when it was about 80 degrees. the timeslip is prolly in the car door somewhere, and the car isnt here at the shop. so we'll try to get pics later for all the non believers and haters. anyone in the area of Charlotte who still doesnt believe me is more than welcome to come look at the car and race if you'd like. we may take it to Moorseville again tmw nite and try to take video. if you want your stock T25 SR to make 250+ whp....give us a call. RLZ Engineering/Speed Innovations, 704-262-7948...we're located in Concord, NC. we currently have the fastest street class all motor honda in the world right now. [email protected]'s will be coming this w/e. look us up on honda-tech.com and do a search for RLZ Engineering. Brad knows how to work good head. ;)

btw, pics of the car will hopefully be up soon. not only will you nut over the times it runs...but you'll cream your pants over this car...one of the nicest ones ive ever seen. silvia conversion with a bomex kit and rx7 champion yellow paint job. :fawkd:

i notice you're avatar has the rotor and eccentric shaft in it. if you drive a rotared power car, we dont do work with them. but if you have a SR20, give us a call and ask for Howard, he's the man that know's his way around SR20's here. as far as what's running on the 240 that ive been talking about. obviously its the stock turbo and stock bottom end. the head has our stage 3 port job, crower cams, our custom intake manifold, valves and springs(dont know what kind), i believe a 3'' exhaust and DP, and it looks like a modified stock intake with a K&N cone filter. it dynoed at 270 whp.

btw...sorry for hijacking the thread. if anyone else has any questions please PM me. like i said, ill soon get pictures, dyno sheets, timeslips, videos, etc. of the car and make another post and it can be discussed further there.

my car made 255rwhp/250tq when i dynod it at work just to get a baseline. All ive got is a greddy RSPL, 3" exhaust, cone filter, and a profec b set at 14psi. redtop/T25

otherwise stock, ecu/inj/mafs/cams/manifolds etc etc

wow thats pretty damn good and im guessing in your sig it ran 13.0? Stock tires?

kidinthehall

no that was on a pair of borrowed nittos radials. the 60ft was still pretty weak (1.89) though because of a problem with my rear suspension at the time causing pretty harsh wheel hop. Given a few more passes that night im pretty sure it was capable of at least a 12.90

kcolyer27
06-24-2004, 07:42 AM
HOly shit 1.89 60' Thats all wheel drive times. WHad u get in the 60 for your wrx?

kidinthehall
06-24-2004, 09:24 AM
1.89 60ft on drag radials sucks man. it shoulda been in the high 1.60's. Several people have been in the 1.45-1.55 range on slicks. My WRX usually cut in the mid 1.7 range on the all season 205/60 bridgestones that came on it.
