Hate to do it, but I'm putting my jeep up for sale. Its far from perfect, but is daily drivable. Just Inspected in Dec, no check engine lights. Its just not exactly a comfy or affordable dd for a 45 min commute. But with a bit of work it will make a hell of a trail rig. Really is a fun truck.
1999 xj.15x,xxx miles. chrysler 8.25 rear end
Problems/ issues
-no exhaust after cat(i kinda like it)
-rockers are shot, some rust underneath
-headliner sags
-carpets stained(interior is about a 6 out of 10)
-paint is decent( also about a 6 out of 10)
-no ac
-leaks oil, about a dime size over three days
Upgrades/repairs
-4.5inch rough country short arms
-35x12.5x15 bfg on cragers
-skyjacker sway bar discos
-rustys steering box brace
-IRO trac bar
-jcr steering box mount
-new power steering pump, lines
-new steering box
-brake pads and rotors replaced over summer
-ball joints done last spring
-front u-joints done over summer
-new front hubs
-new speedo gear (accurate mph)
-alternator replaced over summer
-new starter
-optima yellow top
-new radiator/hoses
-new heater core
-master cylinder done 2 years ago
-55w led off road lights(more for looks)
-6000k hi/low Hid halo's
-4ch amp (6 inch speakers all the way around)
-alpine head unit
Trying to be as honest as possible with what it needs. Like i said far from perfect but just needs some tlc.
