s13 kouki tail lights

i picked up a white 91 LE 240 hatch with bc coils, strut bars, and jdm kouki tails all for $600..

my problem is the left tail light has 2 broken tabs on the outer corner of the panel...so the tail light basically doesn't sit flush but sticks out, and it erks me.

my question is, considering these lights cost almost what i paid for the car, should i sell them and get the us spec?
or
can i buy a us spec 240sx left tail light and just swap the lenses out?

the us spec taillight is entirely different on the inside than the "kouki" taillights. you cannot just swap covers.

do you have any pix of the broken tab part? my guess is you could probably remedy the broken mounting points and fix the issue altogether.

just buy the left one on ebay, here etc... and there you go and if you do decided to sell it you still make money on them. if you do decide to sell them let me know.

Ima get some pix in the am before work...and $100 and change for 1 tail light?..id rather go for an aem wide band.......hopefully I could find an alternative way to fix the broken tabs and keep the tail lamps.

you spend 100, you sell for 500, now you 400 to spend on a wideband and something else or whatever. just trying to help you out because you will instantly sell them or get to have a full set for 100 and some change.
