Yes I have used the search button but people saying things will work then others say that they won't have me confused. And yes I know about lsauto but don't feel like spending the money on it. So Getting ready to throw the Rb25 into my s13 and need a solid will work answer on how to get my speedo to read MPH properly. I've read that I can use a ka or z32 n/a speed sensor with the Rb gear on them. If this is true witch ka sensor SOCH or DOCH cause I have a DOCH one in the garage.

As far as I've found a N/A z32 speed sensor with the rb gear on it brings it dead on or within a couple mph.

Personally I can't say it works cause I have yet to order mine. I just deal with the speedo being off.

You can send your cluster to someone(can't remember now but some digging and I can find it) and he'll fix the speedo. You might be able to purchase the speedo gauge that's been fixed and switch it yourself.

depending on what wiring harness u use will determine what sensor to use. I got my harness thru Wiring specialties and it uses the stock rb sensor with the DOHC cluster and interior harness. Have read a lot that the Z32 sensor will werk but as far as what wire harness they are using I don't know. Can't find where to hook my wiper amp tho. So if u go with a WS harness, let me know if u figure that one out lol! 1990 S13/RB25DET.

Z32 5 SPEED N/A sensor works, plug is the same as RB. You just have to swap the RB VSS gear over, it's simple. MPH should be pretty close, it is on mine.
