Hello all, hopefully someone can help me. I have a 95 se. Auto to manual conversion done. The motor is an s13 redtop. It has a built bottom end and built head. Its currently running on an aem ems4 ecu. I want to go full plug n play but dont want to buy ems2. The current harness is a hack job. Tried cleaning it up as best as possible. I ordered a wiring specialties s13 into s14 engine n trans harness and im looking into the boomslang plug n play conversion harness for the ems4. My question is with the boomslang harness u have to run a stock ecu to keep your tach functions n etc. What ecu do i run. My motor is an s13 the chassis is s14. Do i run stock silvia s14 ecu or s13 ecu. The stand alone will control the motor stuff just want my tach n etc to work. Please help. I asked boomslang but they were no help.
