S13 kouki tail lights lock and tumbler

I've searched but haven't really found anything.

Is there any way to use my USDM lock and tumbler with the Kouki Tail lights. I know the kouki tail lights stick out further than the older model tail lights which leaves a gap between the lock and the center garnish. is there anyway to shim my oem lock to fit? Or do i have to find a lock and key set for the kouki tail lights?

Heard washers can work, and lets you keep one key for the whole car :)
Or you can get a longer key cut and that'll work also.
