Hi guys. Newbie here. Had my S15 since 2007. I recently cleaned out my throttle body and unknowingly removed my tps(dumbass). Went online and followed the adjustment procedures. Here is the problem. WOT..I adjusted it to 4.0v (It can go slightly higher). With the throttle fully closed, the voltage does not go lower than 0.6v. Now it idles around 1200-1400. When I clutch in, the revs go up. I can't seem to find a solution online. Everyone has a dropping rev issue but mine is a high rev one. Help please.

Adjust the tps for closed throttle, .45v~ not WOT!

Cotbu. That's what I meant. I adjusted the tps when the throttle was fully closed and the multimeter gave me a reading of 0.66v (the tps could not be adjusted any further). I then slowly opened the throttle and the voltage changed to 4.0v at WOT.

try using an elliptical motion while adjusting, instead of just turning\twisting it, if that makes sense. g\l

I just remembered that my tps fits into a circular socket. it can only rotate forward or backwards..there is no way to do an elliptical motion.

Tps adjusting is an art form, I guess?

How did you clean your throttle body? Theres a chance you removed enough material where there isn't a very good seal and air is leaking through causing your high idle. Have you adjusted your IACV at all?
