This is kianda embarrassing because this should be an easy install. I did not install the steering hub correctly because my steering wheel is off. Yes I did lock the steering column before I removed everything and everything was strait. Now it's a really Big pain in the butt to remove the splash hub.
How can I remove it without messing anything up?because it's on there really tight.
It's on my s13

Get a steering puller. Or use a rubber mallet to smack it off.

If I don't have access to my tool box to use my puller, I attach the steering wheel to the hub and try to wiggle it off. I would strongly suggest getting a two-three jaw puller though.
Re-attach your quick release or if its just the steering wheel attached to the hub, then reattach that w/out the main steering wheel hub nut and use a RUBBER mallet and gently tap behind the steering wheel while pulling it towards you and it should slide off. I suggest you tap the steering wheel at different areas to make it easier.

Hey Chuck, don't know if you've already fixed your problem but in case anyone else has this same question and is looking for a definitive answer: I personally had the same issue and I used a "hub puller" that I rented from Autozone. You situate the three arms with hooks around the back of your hub and screw in the center bolt clockwise against the large center spline that holds your hub in place. The hub should eventually pop out after a few twists using a socket. You have to give about a $30-60 deposit to rent it and all the money you used for the deposit is returned to you upon safe return of the tool.

Dang! Thanks for all The input guys! I will for sure do this tomorrow when I have time. I just want to be cautious and make sure I don't break anything.
