Sr20det fouling plugs

I might pick up an S13 swapped with SR20DET red top. only thing is, It'll run with new plugs, then after, it won't cause it'll get fouled out. That show's to me that it's running rich. What can cause it to run rich? I noticed it sounded like it had a turbo leak between the manifold and turbo, and one of the charge pipes that that goes from the turbo to the intercooler has a leak on the coupler. It's like the wrapped it with duct tape or something. Will that cause it to run rich? I don't wanna pick it up if it's gonna be a lot of work. Thanks!!

Fix all vacuum leaks
Fix all intercooler/pipe leaks
Ensure timing is set properly
Ensure fuel pressure is set properly

Sounds to me like you need to get the pipes and leaks sorted asap.
