The hinges came as kit made for especially for this car. The kit was installed by a professional body shop. They open flawlessly with minimal effort.

I have to admit i am not a fan.... however the amount of care you put into this car is pretty rare, if only you put this much effort albeit without the doors into a more desirable chassis you would be on the right path, somebody out there will appreciate this regardless.

I understand the majority of people want to go fast, in my case I was more interested in reliability and quality. This engine still has a transferable warranty all the suspension has been gone through and replaced as needed with OEM parts. This car is 90% new and the price has been set accordingly. I am negotiable with my price if someone has a serious offer.

That's the sad truth about a project like this, you never get the money back out of it that you put it. Quite simply, it is worth more to you than anyone else.

because other than the doors its a very nice looking and well tooken care of car

I find it funny that everyone hates on these cars. I can tell you that a well taken care of 3000GT won't rattle everytime the wind passes by it. A girl won't look at you funny when you ask her to get in. It will make it from point a to point b without the need to get out and put zip ties on the front bumper to keep it from falling off. The cops won't profile you as a street drifter / street racer..etc..etc.. and last but not least....an SL is still faster than most 240's on here.

The price is a little high, I was expecting a VR4 in "ok" shape.

in the end...GLWS...these cars are a very rare breed.

The potential these cars have is more than you think...I regret every single day that I sold my 93vr4 up until the day I bought myself a 94vr4 which I currently own.
