I have looked all over for an answer but could not find one that was satisfying enough. Anyway to the point, I have an 89 240sx that I just removed the ka24e from and am now about to swap in a ka24de. I was wondering if anybody new about the wiring harness deal. I have the wire harness' and ecu's from both motors, but my question is would I have to wire up the plugs from the DOHC plug to the SOHC plug? Or would do I just need to change out the ecu with the new wiring harness, I'm new to the car scene and would like some help. Thanks

You need the dohc wiring harness and ecu. You will need the clip from the sohc harness to the body harness. It is a white clip that needs to be re pinned to the dohc harness. There are videos on YouTube if need help
