resonator?

what does a resonator do?  doesnt seem to be important because ppl take them out to make room for the intake.

The factory puts it on there so you won't hear the intake noise, if you take it off it won't do anything but make your engine alittle louder.

u must be talking abt the intake resonator... a resonator makes things quieter.... and what your stock resonator does it makes your stock intake quieter. u need to remove the resonator and stock intake box for the aftermarket one to fit...

it is like your exhuast resonators, u dont need them unless u wanna be quiet.....
