Where to find JE pistons

Hey guys im sure its somewhere on this forum but i cant find it do to the fact JE=2letters so the search doesnt look for it. So does anyone know where i can find JE pistons for my redtop? or even ideas on how to search for them on this forum, also while your here where i can get crower rods, im gonna search but just incase you know someplace else that may be cheaper.

Go to a engine builder and give them one of your pistons. They'll measure it and order direct from JE. I paid like $450 for mine that way.

jeff's idea is a good one. i, however, am going with the ones at the site i listed above for the KA.

the one beef i have with measuring stock pistons and matching is that i want low compression pistons with larger ring lands.

just be sure that the person who specs them out does what you want

Yea. Engine builders have a lot of experience with changing compression ratios, ect. I use a builder that has won awards, took the fastest stock body Corvette record, fastest Corvette on street tires, ect. They usually have a program to get correct measurements.
But CIP is really good, and you won't have such a long downtime (remove pistons, take to builder, have measured, wait 4-6 weeks for custom pistons, recieve and install). Via the site, you just order and wait a bit.
