1995 Nissan 240SX SE - $10,500 (Naperville, IL)

I looked everywhere for a 1995 rust free example to be my project car- found this one in TN and after a ton of work it's finished. (1995 is the only model year of S14 that does not need IL smog test) I created this to be a show car, track car and daily driver all in one. It's comfortable, fast and can both handle and brake with confidence.

The quick:
SR20DET engine/transmission swap. New suspension, brakes, high end pearl paint job. SE model with 5 lug hubs, VLSD, 5 speed. Touge factory (Best place for 240sx's) did much of the work.

Engine:
SR20DET blacktop
Circuit sports oil cooler with oil filter relocation
Upgraded power steering cooler
Mishimoto radiator
Maxima electric fans
Front mount intercooler
Manual boost controller- never set above 9psi (didn't want to push it)
HKS SSQV BOV V.3
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
Full 3 inch exhaust going through new Vibrant exhaust and resonator. No drone, no power loss.
New K&N style cone air filter
new Iridium plugs
Walbro fuel pump and new Z32 fuel filter
Mobil 1 oil only

Brakes
New Touge factory Z32 brake booster
Heat shielded
Z32 front calipers
New Front Brembo rotors
New Hawk HPS pads all around
New Stainless steel lines/conversion kit
New rear Centric performance rotors
New Super blue racing fluid

Interior
AC and heat work perfectly.
Speedometer and all gauges work
Innovate oil pressure and temperature gauge
AEM UEGO wideband Air/Fuel ratio gauge
Autometer Boost gauge
Tomei shift knob with short shift kit
Splash Boss hub
Sparco leather steering wheel with yellow center strip
Perfect dash, seats, interior all around- crack free.
Silvia floor mats (also including metal/diamond plate floor mats)
Pioneer UBS/I-capable deck
High end pioneer door speakers and Pioneer 6x9 in rear tray
Pioneer Amp all around
Battery relocated to trunk
Dynamat style insulation

Suspension:
Stance Super Sport+ coilovers, aligned and corner balanced by Touge Factory
Stance Rear upper control arms
Stance Toe rods
Stance Tie rods
New CV joints.
Z33 350Z wheels
Newer Falken Tires
Car is perfect for track or just highway cruising- extremely comfortable and turns absolutely flat.

Appearance:
I had the car stripped and painted, including door sills in Cadillac Platinum Ice Tri-coat. It's the whitest pearl I could find- looks incredible.
SE front spoiler and side skirt were painted gunmetal gray.
Car has no dings or rust absolutely anywhere- I kept this Tennessee car garaged and it looks perfect.
Authentic Seibon carbon fiber hood
Silvia front grill
Kouki rear lights.
Zenkis rear lights are included
Front lights are crack free and clear (rare!)
HID lights.
SE Fogs
S2000 style antenna- shark 2

Boxes of spare parts (steering wheel, lights, window amps, switches, pads and rotors etc.)

I have a lot tied up in this car as you can see- I understand that I wont get the $16k+ I have into it. Reduced to 11.5k on craigslist, 10,900 to Zilvians.

Thank you! Since it's dry out today I took it out and snapped some pictures. I gave it a quick rinse- so please excuse the dirt.

Me and my wallet wish you were right! Having a professional shop like Touge factory do most of the work wasn't cheap. I spent 4k off the bat with them replacing the entire suspension and dialing it in. (No bangs, squeaks etc) I had them address any leaks or other issues, so in went new cv joints, vacuum lines, power steering cooler placement/upgrade etc. the professional paint job combined with an insistence on having a perfect body free of dents drove up the price too. Basically, I wanted to make sure I had a clean, good looking cars that wouldn't cause headaches down the road.

Yea unfortunately on this forum this happens a lot....people price cars based on parts without the labor cause I guess it's assumed back yard jimmy can paint, swap an engine and tune...I think with these cars unless you can do most all the work yourself it's not worth reselling...for myself the fun is having the satisfaction of fixing stuff on my own however a few cases I have had to pay experts for their skills for paint, tuning and alignment.
Glws though car seems clean but looking at your parts list 10k + will be tough here

Beautiful work man, I wish you the best of luck to get the money it deserves for sure. I like the guys at TF, I go there quite a bit at least every time I travel to Chicago for work.

You should just keep it!

Deff a clean car. Its worth what ever the buyer is willing to pay in any market. But to respond to the posts above. MANY times, MOST times sellers will add in LABOR charges to their build which isn't right. You can't get back your money on labor spent. Sorry doesn't work that way. If you want to get into that, then I guess people can start charging labor rates for their own time and work if they built the car themselves. Heck avg rate here in cali for labor at a shop is $95-100/hr. I mean if you go down that road you going to add in every time some place washes your car and if you go to a shop to do your oil change, swap tires, brakes etc (assuming your one of those people who can't wrench on a car LOL)? Prices would be stupid sky high.

OP, that is like the prefect daily driver. Good luck with sale.

GLWS, quality work/labor is the difference between a nice reliabile car and someones project that always seems to have issues.

Thank you for the compliments guys, I understand I'll take a big loss on the car... That goes with the territory when investing in a car. I enjoyed the project and I'm sure someone out there will appreciate it.

I'm also selling a BMW 2002 330i sport 5 speed with dinan upgrades- I'll make someone a deal if they want to buy them as a package! :-)

2 offers so far. I welcome any comments, questions and offers but I'm not in a rush- I'll happily wait for the right buyer. (I'm having a blast driving it around now that Chicago is out of the deep freeze!)
