My SR20det is showing really lean on my aem uego wide band and will not idle and cannot be held at a specific rpm, only feathering the throttle will keep it running. now if you introduce a 15sec spray of carb/brake clean to the MAF filter (z32 MAF) and then start it up, it idles and runs perfect and shows good readings on the wide band, and then after the carb/brake clean evaporates/gets used up, you can watch the a/f slowly go leaner and leaner. Ran the same test w/ known good ka24de MAF and got same results. (I have wiring specialties wire harness, came with several MAF pigtails) 99% sure timing is excelent. I know this sounds like a vacuum leak but does any one have any other ideas?

swapped red top s13 into s13 hatch
new wire harness
front mount intercooler
gt28r turbo
stock s13 sr injectors (yes i know these are not big enough for this turbo, only trying to get it to run and idle correctly)
z32 MAF
walbro 255 fuel pump (1 year old, was working great with the KA24de previously in the car)

could be the FPR sounds like there isnt enough fuel pressure in the system

Haven't done an Sr swap, but aren't you supposed to upgrade your fuel pump? Again I'm not sure, just think I remember reading that.

Haha, no problem, however after a good night sleep, I'm fairly certain Its the FPR. I'm running the stock one and I have an adj one. Will post results tonight

Well, adjusting the fuel pressure didnt seem to help, next step im guessing is ecu?

I was going to mention that if your ECU is tuned for the z32 MAFS, putting the kae MAFS on will not give you better results.

Glad that you figured out the problem...hopefully.
