Okay boys and girls, I finally updated my website. Go directly to http://www.NekoPunch.com or use the direct links posted below.

1) First of all, check out the pics from my last trip in April/May. I was only in Kyushu, so no trip to Tokyo this time.

http://www.northwestnissans.com/donations/nekopunch/japan/2004/japan04a.html

2) I made a little music video from my day drifting at Sekia Hills with FukuokaS13 and PowerdBY007. It could have been a better/longer video but...

a) the weather was rainy and gloomy
b) no good places to film from if you don't have track access
c) I need a better camera
d) I was having TOO much fun driving 007's car and taking rides with 007, E.T., and Inoue-san (white S14).

*BTW, I had to temporarily remove my other music videos while I post this new video in order to reduce excess traffic to the website. The other videos will go back online soon here.

3) I also uploaded some clips with raw unedited footage from Sekia Hills.

http://www.northwestnissans.com/donations/nekopunch/videos/sekia/sekia-clips.html

4) Brought back a few goods this time, but nothing too crazy. (no coilovers in my suitcase like last time...)

Some 5mm and 20mm spacers and shift knob that Kyoko bought me...

Super-light, super-fly cross wrench I picked up at the Sekia Hills shop...

URAS Direct Shift. This is not a short shifter. Notice that it is ~not~ counterweighted and it actually makes the shift throws LONGER. But it gives a very unique direct feel and reduces chance of a mis-shift. I LOVE IT.

URAS Direct Shift next to a used C's Short Shift Kit which I already sold...

URAS Tension Rods, not to be installed until some other stuff arrives...

5) I added my favorite clips of some raw footage from the 2003 D1 USA, since people out there have been requesting it.

http://www.northwestnissans.com/donations/nekopunch/videos/d1usa03/d1usa03-clips.html

6) I've gone back and added more non-car photos to the pages for my trips to Japan in prior years, just to keep things interesting.

I'm also working on scanning photos from earlier trips in 2000, 99, etc. but there might not be many car pics. Back then I didn't bother taking many pics since I didn't have a website.

7) NekoPunch is always keeping busy and having fun. Here are a few photos if you've been wondering what I've been up to...

Yup the motor is still there. Not much new here...

Good stuff. It looks like you had a lot of fun. $60 dollars for a day of drifting sounds good to me.

wanganwonder: Not sure, but I'm pretty sure the shrine in that movie would have been close to Tokyo (i.e. not Miyazaki).

chokudori: Yeah you're right, technically it's not a kei-car. Probably too big to qualify. Looks like the March and Cube are also 5-number plate cars. Weird though because I rode in a new Subaru Pleo, and it was pretty darn big for a kei-car.

Been a fan of your site for a while now, keep up the good work.

Wish I could have gone back to Japan this summer to visit family and buy more car parts but I spent all my money on my new motor :( Sigh... maybe next year.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the pics and vids.

teamcapsule: I hope you get a chance to go there someday. The main reason that I post these pics and videos is to encourage you all to drop what you're doing, take a trip over there and experience it for yourselves. Pictures can't capture 1% of what it's really like. :)

I really need to go to Japan......

So much cool stuff, just driving around and sitting off the side of the road.

Well, hopefully, I'll be going there either this winter or next may.
