K got my Z32 MAF in and my car runs like ass. I got the sensor selection in my SAFCII at 2/6 *S13 blacktop* It runs but when im on boost, it feels like its lagging/hesitating/bogging. I can feel the car boost hard *harsh* but cars not moving. Engine sounds like its bout to fly out of the car but cars just not moving in boost. ANy suggestion? :bash:

Read the manual. z32 (Fairlady Z) input/output/sensor type is in there. Double check your numbers with the manual. There might be a possibility of a bad turbo if you can hear the turbo working but no power.

thats the thing, turbos good, i checked that already, plus the fact that it pulled harder with the stock maf. Could a boost leak cause it to hesitate like that? But damn where the f*ck could i be leaking...I re-tightend everything before i stuck the maf in. Blah....imma go get me some simple green and spray that bitch all over my intake piping and fmic piping couplers and see if i come up with anything.

Sea foam is a great way to find even the smallest of leaks...

you probably need to make fuel corrections. when i had a AFCII i did the same thing, just set the numbers (mine ran better at 2/5) but i still had quite a bit of corrections that i had to make to get a decent A/FR.i was running really lean up top i think i had to add 23% or so over 5k to get a 12:1(wideband)
