I have a rb20det and it feels like it isn't building boost under load. it will build boost if I am just sitting and reving the engine but it will not get up and go when I am driving. I know for sure a ka24de has more power than this right now. it has a garrett t3/t4. 650 injectors. front mount intercooler. plenum intake. aftermarket coil packs. stock igniter box. walbro 255. ecu was sent out to be tuned for what I have and to be around 14-18 psi of boost. it shows 0psi when I am driving it. it also seems to be running rich. the fuel pressure is at 60 when idling. if I go any lower the power cuts out.

I'm guessing either your wastegate is shit or the vacuum line to it is incorrectly routed or leaking. Either that or you have a boost leak.

if your boost gauge reads 0 psi when driving, then you have a big boost leak which would also explain the engine running rich.

Start with basics kid. Did you even look at the engine before posting this?

I started the car and got underneath and the waste gate is not sealing. I took it off and it's cx racing and it doesn't seal at all. Any input?

There's your problem right there.
Buy QUALITY components and you won't have these kind of issues.

I had a spare waste gate laying around and I noticed that the other waste gate did not have a fire ring on it. So there was the sealing problem. Now that I have changed that. My car won't start..... So I will pull it lose tomorrow and try to start it but i don't see how that would affect it not starting. It just cranks and cranks. And all I messed with was the waste gate.

So I pulled the wastegate off and it started then I put the wastegate back on and it started so thanks everybody. It must have been an electrical issue.
