So I am picking up another 240 tomorrow,,this ones a s13 coupe. I going to tow it on a dolly and wanted to make shure about something. If I tow it with the rear wheels on the ground it should be fine because the car is a 5speed as long as I leave it in neutral,,correct? I know that you can mess up an auto tranny even if you put it in neutral but wasnt shure about the manual. Or should I back it on the dolly and tow it on the front wheels :-/

I know that you can mess up an auto tranny even if you put it in neutral but, I'm not sure aboot a manual. You can always disconnect the drive shaft (2 14mm wrenches should do).

i was reading about that in my chilton's manual. as long as you keep it at slow speeds, you should be fine. id just tow it with the front wheels on the ground though and save the trouble.

front wheels. and make sure you secure the steering wheel.

one time i had to have my car towed, and the guys drove the truck around to lift up the front, and i said "you know this car is rwd, right?"
they looked at me for a while and said "oh" and then drove around to the back.
