View Full Version : ECU on 98 blacktop (where is it located)

I wanted to cut the wire that runs from the ecu to the speedo, but first thing is I can't find the ecu. Is it the black box, that contains the fuses on the left-hand side of the engine bay? or is it in another local?

lmao.. damn dude, what he said up above.. lol.. :tweak: . you sure you should be messin with the ecu if you dont know where it is? i say you start DIY'ing your car bro. its by the right hand door, right under the glove compartment box, in front of where the door is when its shut. u gotta remove a couple of screws to get to it tho, then theres 2 screws holding the ecu in, one above one below. good luck man

Sorry I didnt know where the ecu was!! I asked a question, because I didnt know something, so I get flamed for it, this is B.S. I know where they are on a Spec-v and SE-R but I'm just getting into this 240. Man you guys need to chill a lil bit! :rant2:

Why do you want to cut this wire?
I didn't know enjuku did blacktops.
Most probably to cut speed limiter so he can cruise on the highway at 150mph...

that shiet really works? I got a blitz speed jumper that im meaning to hook up. if its as simple as cutting the damn thing and my speedo will still work then...im cutting the bitch
