nice pictures.
Are you referring to the blurriness at the bottom, if so I think its just because it is resting on the ground and its focusing far away.

those old skylines have any potential? I thought that when they were first made, they were just for family cars and whatnot :dunno:

he's taking pics by putting the camera on the ground, which is why he asked that question.

So what year are the good ones (when nissan first bought them?) They look like old F-bodies. Haha, I can see myself importing one and telling all my friends I imported a skyline..then they'd see it and be really really disappointed.

The "better" post-Prince cars...

'68-'72 are the C10 3rd generation, "hakosuka".
'73-'77 are the C110 4th generation, "ken-mary".

Those years are approximate, I'm not sure when the C110 replaced the C10. These are the cars that really defined the Skyline as a sport sedan, though. The regular GT models had the L24 similar to the 240Z, then the GT-R had the S20 which was an old Prince race motor. The chassis and suspension was similar to the 240Z, but they were of course slightly heavier, being 2+2 coupes and sedans.

The C210 5th generation Skyline in the late '70s/early '80s was the "worse", they got a bit bloated and loaded down with '70s era emissions stuff. They were the first turbo Skylines, though. L24ET, like a destroked 280ZX Turbo.

Then everything was back to being good again with the R30. The DR30 RS-Turbo is a hot car.
