I've looked all over and searched in every forum I can find, including this one. This is a longshot, but does anyone have the part number for the S13 Aero Bumper?

Thanks in advance.

I have a friend that was able to track it down, but when he tried to order it he was told that it is no longer made or stocked. He even has connections with Nissan, but that did not help.

Nissan US and Japan actually have their own unique part numbers and you can not order Japan parts at the US dealer even with the part number if it is not a OE part in the US.

If you are talking about the car dealers in Japan - yeah, it is not in stock any more. A dealer might be able to source one for you from some other dealer but it'd be a long shot plus it'd be a lot of $$.

There are a few dealerships that will order it for you if you have the correct part number, even if it is a Japanese market part number. All of these special orders end up going through Nissan Motorsports. Mike Jurado at Puente Hills Superior Nissan in SoCal has been bringing in a lot of nice stuff. He has so many new SR parts down there, that you could practically put together a new SR motor.

Yep, my friend tried both the Nissan Motorsports route and the Japan direct route to no avail. It is really a shame that shipping is so expensive for these large items. Prices for used Aero bumpers on Yahoo Japan auctions are actually quite reasonable, but after you take shipping into account, it will kill you. Unfortunately, I found out this the hard way.

I've worked with Mike before on getting my 180SX kouki bumper. The thing is, you have to know what parts you need or else he can't help you out. Kinda hard to do stuff over the phone because there's no diagrams and part #s to look at. To this day, I can't figure out how to get the bumper to fit exactly. I think I need a JDM bumper support , brackets or something.

A friend of ours regularly gets small shipments from stuff he buys on auction in Japan, but he stays away from the large stuff as the cost of shipping them is not worth it.

thanks for the insight guys...

I know someone heading back to japan, I will ask him to investigate this. All I need is that part # and I can check if the part is still available.

I know its off subject, but anyone know how much stuff you can bring back with you on the plane if departing from Japan? I'll be going in November (a lil warmer then over there instead of going this summer) after a trip to Thailand. Curious, cause I plan to go on a aftermarket hunt when I visit Tokyo. I know from if departing from Thailand its like 100-under 200 kilos you can bring on the plane for free if iirc. Would Japan's Customs be as kind?
haha Hopfully let me slip in a front clip or two :p if not hopefully my relatives would be kind enough to get parts for me if I could Western Union them money for it and for their troubles. Fingers crossed.

If you get a chance to talk to your friend, can you ask him for the part # if he still has it. I work for Nissan NA and might be able to find out if its really still in production or if there is any inventory left.

Thank you!

well, considering the body style was stopped in 94, and its the RARE optional bumper, that EVERYONE wants. they wont have any, it doesnt matter who you are, what number you have, if you have a number, nissan japan wont have any, so i wouldnt waste anymore time on it. used prices for the bumper are upwards of 500$, just imagine what nissan would charge, prolly the price of a full high quality kit, i would go that route.
