S13 KA24DE starter will turn fast and crank engine fast

I have a 93 hatch S13. My car was turning just fine today and it suddenly just started giving me problem starting. The starter will spin really fast and freely but not crank as fast it did before. Now it spins fast and after a little it cranks the car slowly and the rpms start to go up slowly as well. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your starter is bad.

I turned the car a little ago and it turned on fine but it looked like it jumped a tooth (It started to spin freely for about a second or so and then engaged again)
