I need a set of hyrdraulic lifters for my s14 sr20det. As the tittle says i have two alternatives. One is the oem lifters which is nearly $50 for single lifter and the other is ebay's aftermarket lifters. Has anyone had an experience about this subject? Thank you.

I could send you OEM ones if you need, I too am situated on mainland Europe so shipping shouldn't be expensive. If you decide to go with oem I'd like 50 usd for all 8.

If you go high into your RPM band frequently, get solid lifters. If you are a casual driver just get OEM replacements. Can't really go wrong with solid lifters, do not have to worry about collapsed lifters anymore.

I've never heard of sr20's having a problem with collapsing lifters... Solid lifters are a waste when you can do dual rocker arm guides.

Are they used or new?

Thank you for your help.So i can buy aftermarket one.I am an amateur drifter and i am using my car daily and also in drift events. While drifting my highest rpm is nearly at 6500rpm. But i wanna go with tomei poncams and bc valve springs. Should i go with solid or hydrolic?

They are used ofcourse. I too would recommend solid ones for a drift car
