Hi Maxtype_240,

The beam pattern cannot be as accurately focused as the OEM covers since the OEM covers have lines that focus the bulbs' light forward. The silver reflectors behind the bulb simply aim the light in the correct general direction.

I've just emailed Final Konnexion to see if they can take some photos of OEM vs. Final Konnexion clear beam patterns.

S_14.5 posted pics of the light pattern...light goes as far as w/ the OEM cover but it is scattered all over the place, blinding everyone in its path. If you want to get an idea, just take your covers off and turn the headlights on...same thing. Everyone should already know that if you want to fix the light pattern, you need projectors. Attached are the pics.

BTW, I'm interested SystemQs...I will sign up shortly.

yea, they are plastic too... :nono: If oyu sold ur old lights + 350 + time/material spent fixing it and the chance of a shitty outcome. That is a OEM glass headlight easily...

If you can find someone to order it for you! People have tried, it's not the easiest thing to get....but I don't think anyone makes glass headlights anymore, they are too heavy. Plastic is better.

Almost any projector....the housings for the low-beams are really big. I don't know which I'm gonna use yet though.

You're correct, this group buy is for replacement lenses, not housings. Buyers will need to remove their old lenses and then install the new ones.

Not hard at all...I've takin my headlights apart many times. Take out all bulbs and removable plastic pieces. Remove 4 clips (2 on top, 2 on bottom). Put in the oven @ 250 degress for about 2 minutes. Get a butter nife and pry from the bottom. If it's too hard to pry put it longer in the oven.

^^ yeah the oven works really well, when you're done messing with the headlights you use the original adhesive and stick it back in the oven, no risk unless you leave them in there the whole day.
