Does anybody have experience with VIS body kits? Planning on purchasing one for my s13 and would love to hear some feedback.

Hit or Miss...some say they fit, some say they suck. All depends on which kit and which batch you get.

I had one of their carbon hoods and it was by far the best fitting aftermarket hood I've owned.
But yeah I've heard mixed reviews about their aero.
I'd say you're still better off buying a Vis kit over ED or chaser.

I had a full VIS body kit and carbon fiber hood on my bmw and it looked good. Not sure how easy it was to fit though since the previous owner put it on.

I had their old kit it had bad fitment,
-I purchased 2 different kits from them lately and they fit really good so I'm assuming they stepped up their game. I would recommend buying their new kits. super made kit for s14 and type x rep front bumper for s13

out of all the years ive sold VIS and ED, Sideskirts will always be the hardest to fit.. they warp real easily.
As far as i know as of recent, their s13 type-x, N1, Flex, V-speed 4, b-speed front bumpers fit great. The new kits have white or black background, anything with red background is older molds... which I would stay away from.

I have the VIS bn kit on my car, front and rear fit fine. Skirst are pretty tight and make it that I have a hard time opening my doors cause they bind up with my fenders... So I just enter my car nascar style, not like I drive it everyday so I don't care.

they put about 8 layers of FRP so shave down the sideskirts a bit so you wouldnt run into trouble opening and closing the doors.

Hmm, I may try that, hopefully I don't destroy the skirts lol.

I don't have experience with the Type-X kit specifically, but my knockoff BN from them is hands down the best knockoff I've ever purchased. I do not have their side skirts however.

I have the type x front bumper only
fit really good only slight trimming was needed on the side but I'm sure thats placed there in case your fenders are not perfect and you have room to adjust http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg580/Juan_Gallo/DSC03008.jpg (http://s1244.photobucket.com/user/Juan_Gallo/media/DSC03008.jpg.html)

Update: I purchased the vis BN sports rep kit for my silvia front vert. The fitment overall was pretty good, the back bumper went on with ease (although it took some heat to pull one side of the bumper out a little)
One of the sideskirts fit without modification and the other one took some filing.
The silvia front bumper has a big gap on both sides where it meets the fender, but my body shop will take care of this after I paint my car.
Overall I do recommend, I'll post some pictures shortly

Heres a link to my build for those of you that wanted to see the fitment.
Note that I did not align my front bumper completely because it is going to be taken off soon anyways for paint.
