My wife and I don't usually do anything, but this year we're going out for dinner.

Is this your first Valentine's day together? It shouldn't need to be any different now that you're married.

Valentines is easy when married, but getting gifts for anniversary's and birthday's on the other hand.... That's a different ball game

^^^This dude here trying to make that Zilvia love connection...:ddog:

I think I'm gonna cook breakfast & dinner, buy her a book of love poems & do couples mani/pedi's at a nice spa close to home.

Better hurry & make my reservations...

Lovers package has a candle that when heated also turns into massage oil and lotion. Smells like lavender too. Best few bucks I spent. My wife says its also a great working lotion.

im married and spent a lot of vdays years on end. restaurant is a simple disaster even with reservations its like an hour wait no matter ware you go lol I do it a day before or after. enjoy the moment with her not with 500 random people cramped up in one building. just my 2cents.

and buy her something that she uses or will keep to remember that day since its your first together as a married couple. other than that do the usual stuff like flowers and crap. hell even open her door and hold her hand as she gets out lol

^ I'll have to agree with you. Valentine's Day night dinners are pretty much super hectic anywhere you go.

To be realistic, get her some lovely flowers and perhaps something memorable, like jewelry. Maybe do your best at cooking for her that night; a romantic dinner with some red wine. I know I appreciate it when a man tries(:

And really, I was serious about the intimates. Work with a massage and then, as you guys say, 'toss her salad'. Except don't use that phrase with her. /:

that's what I'll be doing, cooking at home. last year was a wasted effort to go out to eat dinner, so it was a lesson learned. Already got the menu planned out.

Filet mignon, with seared scallops with side of penne vodka and grilled asparagus. just need to figure out the dessert...

Took Friday off, gonna surprise my girl with some scratch made heart shape red velvet white chocolate chip cookies and flowers(thursday night).

Friday: Prep my car for event Saturday and then do something with my girl but I have no clue what to do. I treat her like a princess everyday so what's so special about this "holiday"??

I really don't wanna take her out to dinner cause everywhere will have crazy waits(hungry girl=angry girl) and besides, her parents are amazing cooks.

edit: scratch cookies turned out awesome

Sending flowers to her workplace, making dinner for her once she's home from work (typical, since I don't work on Fridays) and then doing whatever she wants to do.
