Hey guys, i recently picked up a stellar deal of an sr20, 2 sr trannys, power fc with commander and map sensor. The previous owner sold the turbo off the engine but it was a t28 running 14psi and he claims the fc is tuned for 350whp on that turbo. also forged internals.

my car is going to be a daily so for reliability sake 350 seems like a lot. i want to tune it down to 250-260whp ish. I have a line on 3 or 4 t25's for $75 a piece. would it be unrealistic to hope for that kind of power out of a t25 reliably?

Parts list:
Sr20det forged internals
Apexi MAP sensor
Q45 ignitor coil
custom manifold
T25
Fmic
Ebay dump pipe
probably external wastegate to run more pounds from T25

anything i should change/pickup to help? I don't have a ton of money as I'm a student so keep in mind. if i had more money i woulda got a 1jz lol

thanks

Go with a t28 and a hks internal wastegate if you're only going to run 10 to 12 psi.

That's what i figured id hear, thanks for the reply. Is there any particular reason to run a t28 aside from being safe and knowing later on ill want to crank it up or is that just literally too much to ask of a t25?

The t28 is just better all around then the t25.id just spend the extra cash and to t28.

t28, so that way if you change your variables then u have the amount of turbo efficient enough for your desired hp or psi
