Sparco Pro 2000 with Bride FG rails in an S13.
works great. install was pretty straightforward, a little customizing, nothing bad. Seat is awesome. I wish it had a little more bolstering for my fat stomach, but it has a ton for my legs and shoulders.

I don't have any seats yet. But I'm really wondering about the eBay seats that have the Nismo logos on the headrests. Mostly for bling factor. Plus my stock s14 seat hurts my butt!! Does anyone have any seats from eBay? If so are they any good?
I figure they require just as much customizing as any other seat out there. Any they LOOK pretty sporty, as far as the feel...hmmm I wonder.
They've got a pair selling for about 250.00 bucks!! That's cheap!! Which is really the only reason I'm a skeptic, I mean you get what you pay for right? I dunno....

FIA recently pulled their homologation for Corbeau seats. Not a big deal if you're not racing competitively, but, just FYI.
Also, like most aftermarket seats, the brackets sit high. If you're over 6' your head will touch the roof.
Dream240, the eBay knockoff seats are crap, they look like crap in person. They're poorly made and in some cases unsafe (cheap recline mechanisms can fail in rear end collisions). I wouldn't buy anything from companies like that, that use the logos without permission. Shady. Crap.

if u ever go somewhere where u can check out cheap recliner seats.. I hate em!! they dont really hold u in.. The cheap recliner seats (not bucket seats) are made to fit different sizes of people.. so if your thin, your gonna knock around in one, which i think is useless to put if its not gonna hold you tight.
Are there any inexpensive seats like the Bride Ergos? I like the seats, but the price is way high for my DD.

I think my buddy has z33 seats but I hear they are hard to install, probably gonna have to bust out the welder and some nice flat stock.

Are there any inexpensive cars like a Ferrari? :hahano:
If it's a daily driver, then rock stock seats. That's what they're for! If you want more style, get them recovered. S14 seats are great!
JIC seats look a lot like Brides, and they're a little cheaper... but not much. About $800 a side I think including the rails. They're not the best, but they're okay.
Cheapest seat combos that WILL fit well without fabricating your own brackets, and aren't crap:
Buddy Club bucket with Buddly Club rails... about $550 MSRP per side.
Sparco Ultra bucket with Bride type-FG rails... about $575 MSRP per side.
You can find them cheaper if you shop around... but you've gotta pay to play. I know seats don't look complicated, but they are. Making a QUALITY, SAFE seat costs money!
I don't mean like Bride quality, I mean the style, I know you can't compare Bride. I don't want race style seats, I want street seats (adjustable).
My stockers are really jacked. The previous owner of my car was a smoker, and he beat the seats up a bit.

I have Buddy Club Seats, not in my car yet due to some seat rail shipping problems. But my friend has the same seat in his car with some Bride (Type LG or LH I think, rails), it is very very good seat for your smaller to normal build kind of person. I am awaiting my Sparco rails since, Buddy Clubs were out of stock.
I'll let you guys know... I'm installing my Recaro SR3 seat tomorrow in my car... should be very comfy! :D

Huh....thanks for the input. I pretty much figured that they were crap cause of the price. A while back Sport Compact Car did a Car Seat Buyer's Guide. Sometime last year, maybe Sept? VERY thorough and informative. I really like the Corbeau seats (I forget which model), they look good and they recline. Since I'm 5'8" and about 170 lbs. I figure I'm medium build so I'm not worried about rattling around in the seats from too much space.
Thanks for the info!

I've got a set of basically new (in the car for about 50 miles) corbeau CR-1's for sale w/ 240sx brackets. They should be perfect for your size.
PM me if you want more info.
