Has anyone heard of a crew called Team: Magnacore? They are supposedly some underground team from Europe and Japan, and actually have some members in SoCal...

I'm just warning everyone to watch out because my friend Taka was rear-ended in Japan by one of the members in a local canyon road and crashed his car due to a spin out and 2 story drop... He is alright though. The person that did it stopped the car and laughed, then proceeded to piss down the canyon my friend drove off of... Thats fucked up shit...

I've heard of some other crazy things too, like they bash altezza lights and shit on riced out cars... They drive lots of canyons around SoCal, so just watch out, they are said if you can't drive fast in front, they'll force you off the road...

Taka just emailed me last night... He told me the Tokyo division is backed by Yakuza and can't do shit. If you think this sounds like BS ask around some people in Japan about car crews now being backed up by them, it's not common but it is happening... I can name one other team that is, but don't want to say anything because it's somewhat known in SoCal... And to add it's none of my business.

Can't say much about the people in SoCal, but I hope none find their way towards me or others on this forum...

I'll post some pictures of Taka's car when he emails them to me, I forget which model GT-R he had, but it's seriously fucked.

All the guys in Velocity over in Japan have never heard of them. They have never heard of any team that goes around pushes people off of cliffs and stuff. we have Velocity all over Japan..But i dunno.

I can understand why they are doing it now since there are a lot of newbs thinking they are JDM Tyte and they aer drift masters going like 20MPH through the Touge or what have you. I think they are just more serious about it and they are pissed that kids are giving drift a bad name. I kinda feel the same way about the poseur skate kids. I encourage the nice kids that really want to learn, but some are just trying to be cool. They hang out on the deck of the ramp when they don't even have the skill to drop in. Then they don't want to move when I am doing tricks up there. One kid spit on the ramp surface and I really chewed him out. I guess its all about competition for territory. If you don't have the skills to participate on a certain terrain, you should just stay out of the way, so that others can enjoy it better. It happens with surfing too, except I am the novice that sometimes gets in the way of good surfers. Its just that there are so few places to surf here. I can't go find a spot just for sucky surfers.

No you totally misunderstood what I was saying...I was saying I can understand thier motives.
