Well, I am changing the direction I'm going with my car so it looks like I will be selling my RB26. I purchased it from McKinney Motorsports at the beginning of the year and they have been nice enough to hold it for me until I was going to be able to get out there. But now that plan is a no-go. So, I have one week while McKinney is in Houston for a race-event to see if I can find a new home for her before McKinney gets back to the shop to ship it. If I don't find anyone serious by next week then I will have it shipped to me and then I will most likely put it on eBay because I think it would demand a much higher premium on there because people tend to pay more than what things are worth typically. So, I'm offering it on some of the 240 forums first because you guys have given me a lot of useful info over the course of my build so I wanted to give you guys first dibs.
-R32 (late model R32 according to McKinney) RB26 in GREAT condition (it is from McKinney, so you know the quality)
-No Computer or wiring harness (I was planning to go stand-alone... as I'm sure many would who are going rb26). If you need a wiring harness and/or computer I know McKinney can get them but that will be up to you.
-Comes with an RB25 tranny
My asking price is $6500 plus shipping (shipping should run $400-600 depending on your location). It would be shipped directly from McKinney.
RB26s are going for around $5500 in decent condition right now, and the tranny is going for $800-1400 ...if you can find one. So, I think $6500 is a reasonable price to ask. I will accept any SERIOUS offers, but I am pretty firm with this price. No trades, and no I will not seperate the motor from the trans... it is a package deal.
I do have a couple of crappy pics of the motor... I was in Cali for the D1 event (McKinney actually invited me and Underground Motorsports out for the event) and we went by his shop and I did take a couple pics of my motor sitting there... but it was in the corner under a large shelf so it was hard to get a good picture... but I do have some if anyone is interested in those as well.
I know I may look like a noob cause I have not posted here much... but I think that anyone that has been around forums long enough should know that a post count has little to do with how much you know or what you've done. Some of you who may be interested might need some type of a reference to know that I'm not just some scammer or something. I have done quite a bit of work with Underground Motorsports so anyone who is SERIOUS about this motor and needs some type of reference for either myself or the motor can contact Chris at Underground Motorsports about that.
Other than that, please email me with any questions.
