hey guys, finally gonna have enough cash to get some sways, and i just wanted to know a couple things first. ive searched thru a few threads but im still a bit unclear if i am going to have to get the D brackets or not. im pretty sure im goin with the suspension techniques kit, and in this thread
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=26547&highlight=BASE+SWAY+BAR
a few people said that it comes with everything expect the D bracket bolts.
i guess with the whitelines you need to get the brackets and the bolts, but ST has everything except the bolts?
and i have an n1 dual catback, a few people on here said the clearance is very good but i read in a post that someone was having problems with it.
anyone that can give me a sure answer...id appreciate it : )

The bolts you should use are the ones that you already have bolted on your stock FRONT swar Bar, just make sure when your installing it if your by yourself, have some thing to hold the other side, or just hand torque some of the bolt on the other side while you bolt in the other. It does come with the D-brackets, your stock one won't be large enough to wrap around it nor the polyurethane bushing that is supplied.
As for the rear, I had no problem clearing my HKS Hiper turbo spec. Remember, just take your time when installing.

thanks for the reply :wavey:
i would assume the same goes for the rear? i have a base model so no brackets or bolts back there. it looks like im just gonna be picking up 4 bolts for the rear. thanks again

Oh didn't know you had base model, yeah the only thing you would need is bolts then. I forget what size they are, but I had stripped one of the bolts on the front right, and had to use some bolts my dad had laying around. Bolted right in, try to use a impact wrench if you can, makes the job alot easier.

ST bars come with all bolts needed for install except those rear bolts... however, when installing them on my friends 95 S14, we had to go get longer bolts for the front "D" brackets because the ones supplied with the kit were too short and weren't threading properly with the shim stack.
