First post, new to the forums. So I bought a 1991 Nissan 240sx se about 5 months ago and it's completely stock besides a new exhaust and I replaced the master and space cylinders, Ka24de. So here's the deal, when I try to hot rod/ go fast and rev my rpm's high, my car dies and when I push the gas it does nothing. I'll try to start it back up and it will start and the gas won't work when I push it. If I wait about five minutes and try to start it again it will work. So I can't, burnout or hotrod my 240 or it'll die and the gas won't work when I press it. I need help! I'm thinking it might be a vacuum leak or something.

Pop your hood and look at your throttle cable pulley... could be hanging up. Second, try to post with a little bit better clarity and detail- the more descriptive and intelligent the post; the more likely you will be to get help.

There are a few things it could be... None of them a vacuum leak.

Hey so yeah like I said if I try to burnout or rev my rpm's past 5000 my car will just lose power and if I pump the gas it won't work. I get off work in 2 hours and I'll try and get a better diagnosis. Also the throttle pulley seems fine. Thanks for the reply.
