Alright guys, here is my current situation. I am thinking about going 5 lug with my 240. I am probably going to end up selling my gram lights to one of my friends, and take that money and get 300zx brakes and try to buy 4 300zx TT rear wheels.

Does anybody have Z wheels on their S13? If so would you post pics, and your suspension setup and if you are running spacers.

Also I am trying to verify the sizes on Z wheels
I was told that the specs for the TT wheels are
16x7.5 +45 (BLEH) on the fronts and 16x8.5 +35 on the rears.

I'd like to just run a set of 4 of the rear Z wheels, because I like the width and offset. I have a set of Apex World Sports coilovers, so i'm sure that 16x7.5 at 45 would require a pretty large spacer in order to clear. I'm thinking that the 8.5's at +35 will probably require a spacer also, but could get away with probably a small 5mm spacer which you can pick up fairly cheap.

I like the idea of doing this for now because of how much better of a selection of sizes and good offsets for 5 lug. I'm kind of tired of my gram lights and want to change it up a bit, so I figured this is a good way to go, and when I get tired of this setup I could go with a little bit taller and wider rims. Also with the Z wheels I plan on getting them powdercoated about the same color of gold as my gram lights, because I love how the gold matches up with the green on my car.

Thanks,
Kyle.

The TT wheels are 16x7.5 +45 and 16x8.5 +35, like you said.

I've got them on my S14, but I have the stock TT wheels (16x7.5 +45) up front. They barely clear my Tein HE's with a 20mm spacer.

The rears fit fine with no spacer, but this is on an S14 and I'm not sure how it would fit on an S13.

I hope this helps a little.

hmmmm... so its looking like in order to go this route I am going to have to run a pretty good sized spacer up front.

wish there were some S13 people that had Z wheels to reply.

thanks for your input though.

I always see alot of S13 with z32 wheels and I think it is wrong ...they dont look good in my opinion ....they can be acquired for a good price though for race wheels but definatly not for looks...

I have a set of TT wheels on my S13. 7.5 up front and 8.5 in the rear. I run a 225 50 16 on the 7.5 and a 245 45 16 on the rear on the 8.5. With these tire sizes you need at least 5mm spacer in the front, as I have. Nothing is needed in the rear. I have fitted my 8.5 rear tires on the front and with the 5mm spacer they do fit. Also all of this is without coil overs, I run eibach springs and AGX shocks. Hope this helps some.

I run TT wheels on my S13 too. You'll need 20-25mm spacers to clear coilovers. For the front I use H&R 20mm spacers to clear the Tein HE, 25mm will make the wheel more flush to the fender. The rear sit fairly fush on a S13.

ok so do you need to run spacers all the way around, or just on the fronts?
and are you running the setup of the 16x7.5's up front and 16x8.5's in the rear?

do you have pics of your car Carisma?

mbmbmb23,

are those TT wheels all the way around?

Did u have to roll your fenders for them to fit in the front? and when you turn your wheel all the way left or all the way right do they rub ur frame rails?

After intalling my TEIN tie rods, they rub now >.<

I think i know my mistake too, i should have gotten 225/40s instead of 225/50s.

Fronts wheels are not TT, (16x7.5) with 225/45 R16's
Rears are TT, (16x8.5) with 245/45 R16's

Fronts do not rub anywhere (although I did stack washers to clear the spring on the inside of the tire). If you are worried about rubbing then 215/45's (or 40's) will clear the coilovers.

I haven't rolled any of my fenders.
