Im pretty sure I need to change the fluid in it.
I helped my friend install another VLSD and we put in 85-90 in it.
It doesn't lock very well, and I'm wondering if for my LSD, I should put some thicker fluid?
I bought some 80-140 or something, would that be a good idea?
What fluid SHOULD I run?
His VLSD is in a stock motor with Tein HE S13.
I'm putting my VLSD with SR and coilovers.
So.. what fluid should I use?

The weight of the oil doesnt effect how well a vlsd will lock.

It doesn't matter. Get a FSM or search for the correct fluid, and add it. The r200 vlsd is sealed, so nothing you do can improve the locking of the diff.

doesnt mater
put canola oil in there
schoolgirl cum
piss
water
haha
vlsd fluid doesnt matter
get the cheapest fluid you can find
it really has NO EFFECT on how the LSD engages/disengages

So it won't like, overheat, or like, be too thick or break any internals?
What is "cum"??!?!?!?
And I tested the LSD... im disappointed.
Oh well, learn how to drive with this one first, then upgrade later!

No but there is teethe and bearings and everyone thing else in there I wouldn't put anything less than synthetic in there.

Why put in a heavier oil weight than you need? It's more efficient to have lighter oil. If you're not towing vehicles, just go for 75W-90.

PS - I put in Royal Purple this weekend in my VLSD.
