Feeling like such a newbie right now :jerkit: ...

I need to get new plugs/wires/dist cap for my KA24DE. I was looking at the NGK group buy and saw that he had stock heat, and one step colder rated plugs. What are the differences in how they actually work other then tempurature? Will one get me better gas mileage? Better performance?

Thanks,I need to know all the info possible.

1991 KA24DE with intake,high-flow cat and cat-back exhaust.

Which should I run, stock or colder is bascially what I'm trying to find out here.

It's the ammount of heat removed from the combustion chamber by the insulation of the plug. With your mod, you should stay stock. Colder is for ignition systems and boost (or high NA hp applications).
Three general rules of thumb:
1) Go 1 step colder for every 100hp you add.
2) A few minutes on Google would have answered your question.
3) If you don't know what it does, you shouldn't think about putting it on your car.

Hey! At least you learned something at the expense of slight public shaming. I was in a good mood because Tampa is giving me a great game!
