Hello all, I am going to go look at a 240sx this weekend. Its a 1998 and I want to know the diffrence are between all the models? I think this is an SE but I could be wrong. PLEASE HELP...
I am looking to swap out the motor for a Goal of Anywhere in the 12s in the 1/4...if that helps you guys 0ut on what I want to do with the car.

All 240sx's after '91 have basically the same weight--2750lbs., give or take between different years and trim levels, and the same engine and power--KA24DE making 155 hp/ 160 lb.ft. torque. The '95+ engines have stronger internals, so if you're planning on turboing the stock engine, that '98 would be ideal...but you said you were planning a swap so there's no real advantage. Also, the '97-98 240's are some of the meanest-looking cars ever built. Get it and enjoy.:)

here's some differences i've noticed w/ the 97-98 se's. they have white faced gauges, spoiler, 5 lug 16 inch rims (compared to 4 lug 15's), but that's all i can think of right now, sorry, i know there's optional packages too though.
