scanned my ecu today and ...

i got a code 32 and it says its the egr valve ... i moved the valve with my hand and it affected the idle so im guessing its still ok . is there any way to clean it ? or could it be the gasket or seal on it ? or hopefully eliminate it from my car , cuz i live in arkansas and they dont do smog checks or inspections here . thanks .

If your idle drops when you move the valve by hand, then it sounds like your EGR valve is okay.
Check the vacuum lines that run to the EGR valve and the BPT valve. It's possible that one of the vacuum lines could have broken, cracked or melted due to old age and excessive under-the-hood engine temperatures. If that happens, then your EGR valve is not getting any vacuum/suction from the BPT valve & is not operating as it should be. Running without your EGR valve at cruising speeds may cause your engine to run hotter & knock due to higher combustion chamber temperatures.

it could be a faulty code... its a problem with the ecu, it will say there is a erg problem but infact it could be faulty

ya i cleared the code and it hasnt come back on and its been 3 days or so . which means it must have been a faulty code , cuz its running perfect , and all the hoses are brand new i replaced all my belts and hoses on every single part of my engine bay about a month ago and they are all tight fitted still . so im guessing it was just the ecu being a dumbass . but thanks for your help anyways .

if its code 32 egr and it comes and goes and u check ur egr and is fine its just messin with u
