OK i was installing my new power antenna because i broke the mast off the other one, i got it all installed and everything...then i go to look at my dash and the clock isnt working...the back light comes on, but no number...and when i went to test the new antenna the radio wont come on either... I was thinking it was the fuses (one under the steering wheel and the other under the hood) they both where fine...i checked some of the wiring and i couldnt see anything wrong.... i need some help..is there a fuse i missed or something? anything else it could be?! HELP ME PLEASE!!!! :aw: :aw:

Buy a watch...

hehe
Sounds like it's screwed, just go to a junkyard and rip out another.

It doesn't happen to be one of those aeronautical fighter pilot watches does it? Those things are sick!

Some radios have a tiny button on the back that you can press with a pen to reset it. Otherwise a good yard only charges around $30 for a stock radio.

Sometimes fuses can look fine but are really blown up inside the top (of the fuse). Take the fuses out and test with a low level electrical current. I believe the fuse you need is near the hood release in the kick panel.

I had the same problem, i couldnt figure it out so i took it to an audio shop and they fixed it, they said it was an inline fuse. so if you know where to look for those that could be it.

Its like the Aux. Battery fuse it calls for a 7.5 throw a 10 amp init and go on about life.

Great solution. Call us when your car burns down.

Fuses are rated at a specific amperage for a reason.

Old tread, but it would be nice if people did tell how they solved it. So did you? (instead of talking shit)

Got the same problem: Saw that my digit was working, but started the car and saw the digit fail and now I got none. :( I have no blowed fuse. Can also say that some of my wiring did tuch because of hard swings in low car. Wiring is fixed now, but steel no digit in digital clock/ out temp. :(

Someone?

If it all happened at the same time due to your harness getting eaten into by being too low, then you may have shorted it out to where the cluster needs to be replaced. If all the fuses are good, and power to everything else in the car is fine; that could likely be the problem.
