I saw the post a while back of the guy who installed the Eibach pro-kit and personally the b4 and after pics looked exactly the same to me. I want to lower my car down considerably so i think i am goin to go with the sportline kit which goes lower. But do ya think this is goin to be practical or am i goin to rip the oil pan, exhaust, and rear end out all in one pea sized pot hole??? Also, i've heard that lowering it that much might create misalignment or something like that in which i would have to buy a camber kit to correct this. Is this true?? If so about how much do they run$$$??? And would it be worth it??? THANKS IN ADVANCE :-)
yup you would need a camber kit..... and once u drop ur car u can hit stuff on normal potholes that would normally do nothing to ur car.... just be more careful with ur car on crapped out roads.

the sportline has really bad reviews by 240sx drivers..... i have personally seen it.... the sway bar is like 2" off the ground.... i heard people say it has a bad ride and too low......
stay away from these unless your car is a show car.....
get the proline or intrax
anything under 2.0"

With the pro kits you have to remember the springs will settle down and drop an extra half inch. If you put lower profile tires on you car you can cut another inch off your ride hight. Remember, Eibach made its prokit line to be the optimal ride height for the best performance for each car. The 1.3/1" drop is what will perform best for our cars.
Everyone I know with Eibach prokits has loved them. The sportlines aren't rigid enough for the hight of them.
i have the pro kits installed on my s13 with the kyb agx's and i dont like how they look i thought it would even out my front and rear since it was 1.8 fron ad 1.6 in the rear. i dunno why it sits higher in the front though. someone said it would even out. hopefully.
here are some pics of my car with and w/o the prokits and agx's

i need to take a pic like the before to really compare it but i dunno it seems like they are starting to settle in (i think?)

I don't want to sound bad, but you pics look like you still have stock wheel gap. I might just be your big rims, or just me though.
no you dont sound bad thats what i was noticeing also i didnt like that the rear looks lower but the front no. i also put new control arms wth pdm bushings in maybe that had a slight thing to do with it? i dunno
it seems like its settling though. (prays)

yeah i have a 1.8-2 inch drop all around but the front still looks high but if u go to the front it looks really low....
i was thinking if i had money i would do fender flares to make it look lower.......
the 240sx does have a high fender line

plus i wouldnt put low profile tires on this car without some big ass rims
i am even thinking 17" with lo-pro is not enough, like 18" with lo-pro
i think i will go with a 16" w/ 205/55/16
u think that is good?

Don't be fooled into thinking the Pro-kits aren't a good buy just by those pictures.....I didn't see a real difference either. I have the Pro-kits on my S14 and there was a noticeable difference in ride height. One of these days I'll scan the pics and post them...
