I had not driven my car in about 3 or 4 days and I go to start it last night and nothing at all....

Take the battery to autozone today and the test comes back saying its dead.

It was purchased Jan 12 2004 from phase2. This seems really weird, and inconvenient considering I can't just go to a local store and exchange it (in fact I am going to have to pay shipping costs if I even want to try to get another one).

Anyone out there have a westco, anyone have any problems? I just remounted the battery in the rear to fit regular sized batteries so I am tempted just to say screw it and buy a new regular battery....

I have a westco battery. I've had no problems with it.

Do you have a battery relocation kit? I'm using it in the factory location.

You might want to check your alternator, maybe it is running down and not charging the battery fully.

I have had the Westco battery for about 2 years, worked great for about a year and then I took my car apart and its been off the road for almost a year now, of course its dead, but IMO it died a little to soon. I have recharged the battery TONS and it still works, sometimes. If I had to do it again I'm just buying a normal battery. I lost my faith in the Westco.

They have yellowtop optima batteries that are half the size now. Yellow tops are bad ass. My friend has a jeep cherokee with a yellow top and there were nights where we would be chillin listening to music and he has an 800 watt orion amp underpowering (lol) 3 jl audio w-6's. Car has not died on us yet.
