I was wondering how many people have been screwed on ebay?
I payed "smoothlinez" $450 dollars for GTO hubs and he never sent them.
I went through the whole BS fraud complaint thing and only ever got back $120, but I guess even that is lucky enough to get back.

um I think I just bought something from him today or yesterday, lemme check.
Edit:yah I just bought an sr20det harness plus ignitor from him tonight, hes got like 500 feedback, dont know why u got screwed over. but yah gimme a week or two and I might also have a sob story, hope to F*CK not.
One time I sold A Compaq Ipaq handheld computer for like 400 bucks, guy asks why im selling it and told him caues I won it and dont need it im 17 (at the time I was) and there is no need for a 17 year old to be using it. So he bitched about im underaged seller and refused to purchase even after winning. left negative feedback too, UNDERAGED KID WILL REPORT TO EBAY, Ebay only says you have to be 18 to set up an account, once an account is set up, they dont give a flying shit who sells as long as it is tied to an account which is held by somebody over 18 (my dad) so ebay laughed at him but thats the only time Ive been screwed over besides little things like they forgot to include gaskets in one order I got, worked it out though,
STUPID ME, How could I forget, I got f*cked on an sr20 motorset. the first time I tried to buy it, I bought for 1400 from some bastard, finally months later he contacted me said it was waterdamaged after taking my money, luckily my dads visa card had something to do w the transaction and visa gave the money back to me. thank god.

Never been screwed on Ebay. I sell things on there all the time, and when I do buy something, which is rare, it's always a low-dollar item, like < $50.
I will never buy car parts from Ebay. Seems to be way too much shadiness in that area, as you all can attest. I don't mind paying a few extra dollars on an expensive part in order to have the piece of mind of dealing with a reputable vendor.

Just make sure you take the right precautions, and use things like buyer protection and such and ebay can be a pretty decent place to find deals sometimes. I have bought and sold some high priced items over ebay and have not had a problem, a friend of mine is an ebay regular and he has also had no problems either. Sorry to hear you got jipped man.

hahahahha thats great I really dont know if I want to give him business now. He said he sent your items and sent tracking number. He then tried to tell me all you did was bother him and he gave you 120 back for your problems or something rediculous. After ranting on for a little bit quickly asks me what the status of my payment is. Kinda sounds like a shady dude.

Never sent tracking number. He claimed the item had a defect and had to send it back to japan.

i got screw over once for a pair of h3 bulbs. but since the bulbs are so cheap reporting to ebay for fraud is out of the question, since they will charge me a service fee which cost much more than the bulbs.. :rant2:

wait a minute. if he told you they were bad then he probably told you hes giving your money back. so he never did? or what cause I am guessing if he wanted to keep ur money he would have just never emailed you back.
