OK I'm about to purchase some tires for my dt-05r's. They are 17x8.5 +25 for the front and 17x9.5 +30 rear. I'm going to run 255/40/17 for the rear 235/45/17 for the front. I will be running spacers in the future as well along with a nice fender rolling etc... Right now I just want to get the tires already and they will be going on a black s14 I just got last week.

here are my two options through a friend of mine.
New Toyo Proxes 4 for $525 for all 4
or Bridgestone Potenza Re750's for $715 all 4.

of course mounted and balanced with new valve stems.

Tough fucking decision. Toyo proxes 4 are toyos new tires and I'm hearing good things about them. Been trying to compare the 2 and I'm reading reviews online. Problem is alot of people online don't know shit and I just need opinions on the Toyo tires because right now I'm leaning on the bridgestone tires.

I would run RE750 all day long, all day strong if I could afford them. I drive a 99 stock M3 with S03's all the time and they rock. If I remember correctly, they do share some of the same technology so they must be good.

Whats the cheapest place to buy 'em? Tirerack, or a local shop somewhere in northern cali?

Tirerack had the bridgestone re750's all 4 for 600 but I dont think that includes shipping and it doesnt include moutning and balancing. think ima get the bridgestones then. I guess theres not enough info on the toyo proxes. was even thinking of getting them and trying them out and giving a review for you guys.
