I lost my only key to my 93 s13 coupe last night in a blizzard. Plows definatly took my keys away. Anyways the local dealership cant pull up my keycode .they say 98 is the earliest year. The corporate nissan says the have the code and there gonna reset there system so i can try again at the dealer tomorrro. Anyways im wondering what are the locations for the keycode on my car? So i can try to get one made today. Im reading that the glovebox has the code on a sticker. Ive got a sticker in there but i cant see the code on it. Also could the door locks have a keycode . Locksmith wants $195and i dont have it

The key code sticker is about size of your pinky finger. And you have to disassemble the glove box I believe is where I found it but Idk if that was te code I needed for my car. Its also on the passenger key cylinder of s13s. Remove your door handle and slide out the key cylinder take it to a dealer and they'll cut you a cut for like 16$. Had to do this last year cause my 240 was revined, by the previous owner -.-.

So if i disasemble the glove box there should be a sticker somewhere behind it. I wish i could use the one on the door panel but the car came with a door from another 240. I dont remeber ever unlocking it from the outside passenger door with the key. I have no idea if they switched locks when they changed doors. Hopefully its behind the glove box

You can take the driver lock to a lock smith...idk if the glove box lock is the same some cars have valet key and glove box is a slightly different lock cylinder.

I'm reviving this one in hopes that someone here know for sure where to find the key code. Does anyone know where to find the key code on 98 240s? Or maybe someone here works at a dealer and has an older database that can still find key codes based on VIN?

I had a key made at my local AAA using the trunk lock cylinder once. I cost about $30 iirc

Nearest AAA location to me is like 2 hours away which is why I was hoping the key code would be somewhere on the car.

Mine was on a sticker inside the glovebox. You'll have to get it made somewhere using one of the locks or the ignition.
