i'm buying a transmission from somebody i know, today. a whole $125 and the syncros are good. i wanted to ask a few questsions.   how can i make this transmission last long? will redline fluids help? how about rev matching to not make the syncros to work as hard? i've learned how to rev match since my syncros went bad, but still, it's wearing my centerforce little by little. i never rev matched with my old transmission because i didn't know the importance and i basically learned how to drive a manual with it.

question 2, how much does cryo-treating cost for 2 or 3 gears, where do i send the gears to get it done?

question 3, can i get different gears for my transmission? i want to change my first and second gears to be shorter/smaller or whichever would lower the ratio to go a little faster in each gear.
