Does anyone have an install or a write up about this item?
I hooked it up a bunch of different ways.
One involved a breather, but I dont think it was working.
The other one involved keeping the whole system shut off, as in no outlet/inlet to air.
But when I hook it up the second way, my check oil light comes on when I idle, it flickers at first, then comes on, but will go away when i start driving again, or if I rev it.

Oh yeah, S13 redtop SR in s13 chassis.

Thanks.
Two problems wrong with that picture.
My catch can only has 3 openings.
There is no opening to go back to the intake.
And second, why does my check oil light come on!

your pump is most likely going bad. or you need to bang out your oil pan more. you probably have less than 5 psi of oil pressure at idle or something.

WUts it supposed to be at in idle? Im starting to have oil pressure issues. My SR runs great when its cold but once its really warmed up, my idle psi has a tendency to drop. Sometimes drop enough that my oil pressure light would pop on. :wtf:

The PSI will drop as the engine gets warmer. On My CA, at cold startup, I have about 75 psi oil pressure, I don't know what it's like when it gets warm, haven't bought an oil pressure gauge yet. But, i don't know how it is for CA's. BTW, the way I got 75 PSI was I had a pressure gauge in the oil pressure sensor location to make sure I had pressure while i was trouble shooting the engine.

But when I turn off the car, I hear a lot of pressure being released somewhere in the vicinity of the oil catch can, that sound wasn't there before, and it's also not there when I put a breather somewhere in the circulation.

the breather would act as an atmospheric vent allowing the systme to build no air pressure that is the reason it doesn't hiss if you have that in line

Do I want it to hiss? is it a bad thing?
