Not sure what went wrong here. I went to go start up my car and it was having trouble, started up when I opened the throttle. It has trouble everytime now, especially when cold. Idles just fine but tach stopped working as well as the temp gauge. Also the engine cuts out when I rev it higher. I can rev it higher in a lower gear. Once I get up to 60mph in 4th the engine cuts out.
This just started yesterday, all I did was clean the car and put the kick panel on the ecu back on. The day before I filled up with 89 instead of 87 gas and I also dumped seafoam in the oil and gas tank. 1/2 a bottle for each. It actually seemed to respond better after doing all that until the next day when this started. Also when I put the kick panel on I adjusted the idle screw with everything off and turned it down a quarter of the way. Was right in the middle before.
I don't think it's either the seafoam or the ecu, unless it's both that caused problems at the same time. I'm confused and not sure where to start yet.
