Like the title says. Im thinking about getting creative with my guages so if anyone has them mounted someplace that isnt common please post pics. Mostly interested in gauges on the dash. Also anything else you have cool in your interior post it. Thanks

Well, I don't have pics (you can search the forums and find them since thats probably where I saw them at if was on a 240)

AC vents: center and the ones below the guage cluster
Between the center vent and passenger a/c vent. Either in a mount or cut to fit in the dash
Steering Colum
pillar- very common
glove box
outside on the hood
Center console where the pocket used to be (like mine)
Center console (replaces both stereo and pocket)
In place of the a/c controls
Halo's got an interesting setup

Ummm, I'm sure there's more. But as said before, use your imagination!! Guages can go everywhere

Both are machined aluminum and black anodized. You can't tell in the pictures, but the gauges are also angled towards the driver.

Hey man.

Check the Buy/Sell thread and you can see the triple gauge pod my friend makes.

If you can't find the post, go to my car domain site and look at page 4.

Have a good one.

My friend did the triple gauge in the middle vents easily also...He angled them towards the driver's seat too.

He could probably make them any size you wanted if he has a machine shop.

Grandpa - How did you mount that gauge on your steering column trim piece?

BillKlineVT - You have to tell me how you got your A/F pod set up like that...I've been pondering how to do that for some time. :eek3d: I also plan to put the S-AFC II in the ash tray spot....just need to make the opening a tad bit bigger. I plan on put some felt on the sides and a little loop for easy pull and play. :)

Well...I seen a boost controller (profec-b) mount on the ceiling of the car...where the sunroff controls would be. The boost controller was covered with the casing that the Mustang (97?) uses for its dash clock...thought it was really nice. Too bad I don't have any pics. :/

newest gauge setup... gauges below the s-afc2 are angled toward the driver using autometer "angle rings" as well as some more custom fabrication... works great

The best interior I have seen was in one of the signal cars

He took a Super AFC thing and put it in the place of the digital MPH on the digital dash looked real clean.

I dont have any pics of it but if anyone could find one it would be cool

quick question for you guys...
im gonna be getting a water temp and oil pressure gauge from autometer. i was looking to mount them in the DIN slot under the stereo. would a 2-1/16" be best for this? and has anyone used that hose coupler with a place for the thermometer?

Edited:
So I guess it is a custom job, newly upholstered.
And as to the post below, I didn't search the source site because I overlooked it and stillensucks didn't seem like an actual site that this guy was posting explanations on.
Thanks

i made the heads up display at my shop.
its a custom molded fiberglass pod where the airbag used to
be. the monitor is a farenheit 7" tft/lcd set in mirror mode
so that the image reflects normally on the windshield.
the guage module is the hks c.a.m.p. unit.
it also does heads-up video from my dvd player.
the entire windshield was tinted in a 50% light transmitting
film(barely noticeable). the heads up is not very effective during the day
but that was expected.

I think that is crazy unique, but I don't really like the fact that its so hard to read... and unreadable in the day. I'm curious, if you tinted that square that it shines on very dark would it work in the daytime, or would the daylight glare block it out... How is the digital reader next to the tac attached? With a mounting bracker or molded in?
Thanks
