How's it going Zilvia! I'm a new member on here that currently owns 1991 Nissan 240sx SE. However, I'm not unfamiliar with the s-chassis seeing that this is my second s13. I owned my old s13 for about two year, I absolutely loved the car when I first got it, but later developed a love hate relationship due to rot. As a result, I decided to part her out and take a break.

The break didn't take too long, about a year later I found my self searching for another s13. I would browse craigslist and the local 240 forum daily with very little luck. It so happened that one day I was browsing the local forum and found a s13 that peaked my interested, I thought it was sold but it turned out it wasn't. So I contacted the owner and scooped it up.

Now a little background about the car. The previous owner used the car mainly for autocross and it is setup really well. From what I've been hearing, its pretty quick. However, I going to be changing around something to make it my own. As for mods the car has:
-Stance GR+
-17x8 5Zigen Fn01r-c
-Motoria RUCA
-Tein inner tie rods
-300zx front brakes with goodrich lines and hawk pads
-hotshot header
-catco high flow cat
-Apexi n1 catback
-ACT HD 6 puck with fidanza light flywheel
-B&M short throw
-walbro 255
-Sparco sprint seats
-Avid racing solid tranny mount

Now a little background about myself and goal of the build. Growing up I've always loved cars. I've always loved japanese cars from the 90's era. I've owned quite a few cars, but I just fell in love with Nissans and the S-chassis. My overall goal for this car is to build it into my dream car, something that I take out on weekends and to track days and just have fun with it. Hopefully keep it as long as I can and pass it down to my kids. Seeing that I don't plan on getting rid of it lol.

Onto the build! The car currently has some rust areas on the rear quarter panel and fender, however underneath its pretty much rust free. I'm going to have a body shop cut out the rust and weld in new metal. I'm hoping to mainly drift it at events, but also do some autocross and road racing. My current parts list includes:
-NRG short hub
-NRG suede wheel-
-Circuit Sport quick release(already have)
-Enjuku suspension arms
-Intake
-Aluminum radiator and electric fan setup
-RPF1s
-Version select 180sx version vi kit
-Type x tails
-Upgraded rotors

However the list keeps growing as I find more things I want to upgrade/replace. I take picture of almost everything I get, but I will apologize in advance. My picture taking skills are not the greatest so bare with me lol.

Onto the pics!

The car is equipped with super hicas, so I picked up a s14 rear subframe to completely elimate the system.

I had a little bit of time to work on the car, so I threw on the steering wheel setup and added and take out a few other small things. I also received some more parts!

Build looks great! I can really respect the purchasing of high quality suspension and supporting mods before moving onto a motor swap. Too many people get their 240s and rush into engine swaps without the proper modifications for them to be able to fully use all of that new power.

I just got the new style of Chase Bays coolant reservoir too, it looks so sleek! Can't wait to install the sucker...

Thanks! I'm saving power mods/swaps towards the last stages of the build. Like you said theres no point on having all that power and your chassis isn't setup for it. Plus deciding what motor to put in this thing is very difficult, especially since there are so many options.

The chase bays items are great, I'm stoked to put in both the coolant reservoir and power steering kit.

I bought the 415 racewurkz bracket and sliders. Long story short, the bracket holes had to be drilled in order to bolt down because none of the holes lined up. The sliders/rail combo made the sparco evo 2 sit high as hell. My head almost hit the roof and I ended up making custom rails (no sliders) because everything was poorly designed. Good luck, and I'm looking forward to this build.
